Camp Karakariki 2017

Camp Karakariki

In week 7 and 8 the year 5 and 6 students went to Karakariki Christian Camp. We did fun and challenging activities like rock climbing, swimming, caving, bmx riding, air rifle shooting, archery, kayaking, energise games and many more! We also hiked to the freezing waterfall and swam. Some kids were brave enough to jump off the waterfall. My favourite part of camp was rock climbing because I pushed my limits by abseiling down a huge 10 metre wall. The most challenging part for me was swimming in water where I couldn't touch the bottom with my feet. Luckily we had done swimming lessons as school before hand which helped train us for a situation such as this.I would recommend camp to people who are adventurous and wanting to push their limits. Camp Karakariki is the best!
