Lost boots

(lost boots)

One day a farmer was going on a picnic with his family by a lake. They got their fishing rods out and started fishing. Then suddenly the farmer felt a big bite. It was so big that it pulled the farmer into the lake. His wife called the other farmers to help them but nobody came and the farmer died. His son was crying. Since that day the farmer’s ghost has been haunting the other famers because they never helped him when he was drowning. His son got the boots out of the lake and kept them to remember him.

100 Word Challenge

Written by Chayse:
It had been a very wet day so far. But I loved it when it rains. Because I get to put on my flashy gumboots and jump around in the massive puddles that were outside. It was always very fun.
But not this time.
I found something that seemed as puddle, yet I was unaware that I was actually a small pool. I jumped into it, but I tripped. My head plunged into the pool of water. I struggled to get out but the weed was keeping me prisoner. I was running out of breath. My lungs were bursting...

I'm stuck Tia

One sunny day I decided to go for a walk with my puppy.  Her name was Meg. We went for a walk past this pond. It was a big walk I was tired I could tell that Meg was too. We got there tired and puffed the both of us. I sat down beside the pond. I took my eye off Meg for not even a minute, and you guessed it she jumped in the pond. I had to get her out of there so I did. It was muddy and slimy I was completely stuck I couldn't get out.

Bikewise

This morning we had officer Adrienne come in and teach us about bike wise. We learned about how to keep safe on our bikes on the road.  Add to this padlet what you learned & any tips to keep safe

The violent storm was

One cold miserable night I was curled up in bed trying hard to fall asleep but the violent storm was keeping me awake I just could not get to sleep. I started to get scared. I could hear trees falling. I woke mum up. She reassured me it was going to be okay. She gave me lots hugs. I fell asleep in Mum’s arms she put me in my bed, by that time the storm was over. Morning came. I pulled open my curtains to find that outside was a wreck. I knew that all day we would be cleaning. By Tia

The Violent Storm by Enoka and Usman

One sunny morning a little girl was playing in her village and suddenly the sun disappeared. The sky turned black the clouds turned grey. It started to rain and the wind blew so hard that the trees broke from their roots. Everybody ran for shelter, the little girl was too slow. The wind was blowing her back from the village. The wind made a tornado the little girl was getting pulled in the tornado but suddenly the tornado stopped. The wind stopped blowing, the rain disappeared and the sun came up and it seemed like nothing happened in the village.

The Violent Storm was By Brenna

As the wind crashed upon our house, and the leaves filled the gutters I trembled in fear while trying to find my mother when the power suddenly stopped, as a tree hit the power lines.  Then I heard my mother calling my name.  I was rushing towards the stairs when the house started to shake.  I hit the ground in pain.  I couldn't move.  I was screaming "MUM" while hoping my Mum would come rushing down the stairs.  My Mum came running down the stairs calling my name.  She saw me.  The storm cleared up.  The violent storm was horrible.

The violent storm was..... by Arzoo and Katherine

The violent storm was.....
One sunny morning as I was playing outside a tiny drop of rain fell from the sky and splashed onto my palm. Then suddenly the violent storm was starting to roar. There were crashing sounds like giant feet stomping. The violent storm was closing up the beautiful sky. All was dark outside and inside, and the lights keep flicking on and off. Outside I imagined that there were haunted ghosts forming a spooky tornado. All was loud then the thundering rain started to drizzle then it stopped. All was quiet and I saw the sun shining.

The violent storm was... ( Courtney )

The last thing I remember was seeing the thrashing tornado whizzing towards me. I shrieked as it hit .Then all went black. I woke up in hospital a few days later. I sat up as Mum popped a piece of chocolate in my mouth. I looked around and saw my baby cousin with a sheet over her head. Tears sprung to my eyes as I realized I wasn’t the only one affected by the storm. The tears rolled down my cheeks. I asked where Dad was but suddenly I didn’t want to know any more. The violent storm was tragic.

The Violent Storm Was... (Brooke)

One sunny day I was rolling in the grass with my friends, then suddenly the sun was hidden by the soft, white clouds.  Those soft white clouds turned into dark gray, smoke like clouds.  Leaves blew in the strong wind forming mini tornadoes.  Children ran for cover to their homes to stay dry.  Drops of rain fell from the sky and quickly it turned into golf ball size drops exploding on the roof. Leaks appeared and pottery was blown off its shelves.  The violent storm was taking place.  Finally it stopped, leaving destruction behind.  “Mum, how can we clean up?”

The Violent Storm Was...

The gale force winds woke me up as they thundered against the window pane. I told myself it was just a little bit of rain when suddenly the boom of the thunder and the split second flash of lightning erupted into the sky. As quick as a flash I was under the covers hugging Mr Snuggles my cute teddy bear. A shudder ran through my spine as the rain poured down, I was petrified.  I let my mind wander to all the bad things that could happen to our old 1950’ cottage. This violent storm was the worst in centuries.

The Violent Storm Was...

The howling winds of the storm kept me up all through the night. As I lay in my cosy bed I wondered what would happen to our old Victorian home. Would the roof cave in or would the windows smash? The storm might even be capable of completely ripping the house to pieces? Oh how I couldn’t bare the thought of possibly having no house to stay in the next morning.  The violent storm was destroying anything and everything in its path.  As quickly as the storm came it disappeared to reveal the treacherous, ugly mess it had left behind.

Toby's 100 word challenge

                             THE STORM

There I was just outside when it started, THE STORM, it surprised me and made me run. The rain fell like bullets from a machine gun. It roared like a lion protecting her cubs. The violent storm was so big the thunder was a blast of sound. The lightning was so big that it took down a house. Everyone started to rush to lock the doors. Hail was the size of golf balls but then a miracle happened, it started to fade away. The clouds turned white again I was so happy that it was finally over... till next time...
