Statistics


In room 15 we made a graph about everyone's favourite snack food. This is a pie graph. We found we could change the type of graph just by moving the squares around. We had different colours for each different category. Green was fruits and veges, purple was drinks, pink was sweets and desserts and blue was other. The most common food was fruits and veges and the least common was other.

    What a great way to display your graph. Next time I visit can you explain these to me because I think they're great! I would've chosen fruit and veges, my favourite being watermelon and oranges.

    Great statistics work. I like the way you have presented this information so it is a visual pictograph of your favourite snacks. I wonder if you worked out what fraction of the fruit was the favourite?
