Poetry Week

This is a poem i picked for poetry week because I love reading books because they are so interesting!

Avigail's Reflection of my first few weeks.

Something interesting I had done so far is the Ice breaker because I get to know interesting facts about people in my class. 

The most challenging activity I have done is The Brain teaser because I had think outside the box. 

Lastly, One thing that i'm looking forward to is Camp because it sounds fun and interesting.  

What I'm Gonna Do In Term 4?

 Term 4 would be the last term till I will be a Year 6. So in this post i will be writing about what I should do in the last term of the year. The goals that I have been thinking that I should try my very best to accomplish this term is that I should at least reach the finish line in our R.A.T.T ( Race Around The Track ) and at least improve a lot in my learning such as writing,reading,spelling and maths. I was also thinking that I should try my best to make lots of friends so I won't be lonely when my year 6 friends leaves me and goes to intermediate school. 

Avigail's Cross Country experience

Yesterday was Cross Country. Unlucky me had to run in the 10 year olds girls race. It was pretty exhausting and tough because we had to run 5 laps around the field! Sadly i didn't came in the top 5 but i tried my best anyways. Did you like the photo I put up there? It was the ten year old girls and me all lined up together before we had all those races. Well it was also a fun, exciting day.

End Of Term 2 Reflection

Something that I enjoyed this term is Book Week because there were lots of interesting books that you could buy from the library and when I was in the library I bought a book called The Honest Truth.

Something challenging/Hard that I have this term is Maths because when we were doing a graph for statistics and we have to have questions to ask people and do a tally chart and then do a graph and then write a summary.

Something interesting that I have learnt is my writing because we were doing a poem, report or a recount and the topic we had to do is seasons and we watched an interesting video about seasons and why we have seasons to help us for our writing.

Popcorn

                                                                   Popcorn

                     Popcorn looks like white fluffy clouds and smoke coming from a rocket.
                                           Popcorn sounds like crunchy popping candy.
                                                     Popcorn fells like sticky honey.
                                                       Popcorn smells like honey.
                                              Popcorn taste like sweet sugary syrup.

I like this poem because its about best friends. 

Building Towers

To build our fabulous tower we used 2 sheets of A2 paper and one strand of 1 meter cello tape and the last resource we used is one pair of scissors.It wasn't that hard working with your team it was easy  but sometimes some of us are bossy but is still okay we work like a group of penguins surviving in the freezing cold.To be a great collaborator is to listen to people's ideas,be a supportive leader,work well with others,when you disagree in a respectful way,share your ideas to other people,following the rules,speaking friendly to others and be a leader that you would like to follow.
