Using different Mediums and shading in Art

For artwork in Room 15 we are learning about different Mediums. Mediums are things that you use to make your art work. A few mediums are:

-Charcoal
-Pastel
-Sketching Pencils
-Paint ect.

We also had to use shading with these mediums. By going darker and darker to lighter and lighter.

Now before i finish i know not many of know what charcoal is so here is a short explanation:

-Charcoal is burnt wood but so light it can break with that smallest pinch.

-Charcoal smudges. Miss Wyllie gave us bluetack to help us erase the charcoal if it smudged.
