Tectonic plates

This week our focus is about Tectonic Plates.

Tectonic Plates are the things under the earth.

We have done a tectonic plates puzzle witch was a map of were all of the Tectonic Plates are in the

world it was pretty cool to do.

Also we have learnt about the earths core that was fun and also a little hard.

the picture in the top corner is the earths layer which is like the earths core.

the other picture is of the map of the Tectonic Plates that picture was the same as our puzzle we had to do.

Our topic this term is being prepared for disaster .

So far this has been a fun topic we have been talking about all of the major disasters that have happened in new Zealand.

We've also done in groups some work sheets were we had to answer lots of interesting questions.
